Front End Developing Internship

About Us:

PlantPort is a fast-growing platform aimed at helping nurseries onboard and sell their plants and related products. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Front-End Developer Intern to join our team and support the growth of our platform.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to maintain and enhance the front end of the PlantPort website.
• Implement daily updates, including UI improvements, bug fixes, and feature additions.
• Ensure website responsiveness across various devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
• Work on React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create a seamless user experience.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug issues in the front-end.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end elements with the API.
• Assist in UX/UI design improvements to enhance customer experience.
• Stay updated with front-end development trends and technologies.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Passion for front-end development and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with responsive design.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with front end would be a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Material-UI (not mandatory).
